Manzella Orthodontics Whitening Studio
Ask about the Manzella Orthodontics teeth whitening program to get your brightest smile and optimize shade change.
Our recommended whitening procedure is a two-step process of using customized whitening trays for two weeks before your in-office whitening visit.
You’ll also receive additional whitening gel to maintain your shade from home.
Brighter Options for You
In our West Seneca office, you ‘ve got multiple choices to get your whiter smile. We can handle it in the office. Or if you prefer, you can take care of it at home.
In-Office Brightening Boost
This option is perfect if you’re looking for a quick color pick-me-up. We’ll apply a special whitening gel in our office and can repeat the process up to three times in one visit.
Most folks see a nice boost in just one appointment. If you notice any soreness that night, Ibuprofen can help until things settle down. For 12-24 hours after your visit, skip coffee, tea, and red wine.
At-Home Whitening
Want to whiten on your schedule? Our custom trays and professional gel fit into your nightly routine. Apply the gel and wear the trays while you sleep.
Everyone’s teeth respond differently, so you can keep whitening until you reach the brightness you like. If you feel a little extra sensitivity, you can take a break for a night or two until it eases.
Whitening Gel Refills
If you’ve already got trays, our refill syringes help you keep your smile looking fresh. Order more as needed and continue wearing your trays overnight. It’s easy to hold onto your bright results—no extra appointments are required.
Avoid stannous fluoride products for about two weeks since they can cause dark stains. If you have questions or need more gel, just let us know. We’re happy to help you keep your smile shining.
How In-House Whitening Works
First, we’ll prep your teeth by applying a special coating to protect your gums. Then, we’ll place our whitening gel on your teeth and let it sit under a light for about 20 minutes. Depending on how your teeth feel, we can repeat this process up to three times in one visit.
You might feel a little tingle or sensitivity during the session, which is normal. If you’re worried about sensitivity, taking Ibuprofen an hour before your appointment can help. Most folks immediately notice a lighter shade, with continued lightening over the next day or two.
After your appointment, avoid coffee, tea, and red wine for the first 24 hours. You might see a few white spots on your gums, but they should fade shortly. Keep an eye on how your teeth feel, and reach out if you have any questions.
